2012-2013 Educator's Guide

Field Trip Criteria

• 10 or more paying individuals
• Schedule at least 1 week in advance of visit
• Pay a consolidated single payment
• Plan 1 chaperone for every 10 children
• Field Trips receive the Group Rate

Group Rate

• $6/person
• (1) free adult general admission for every (10) paying individuals

Science presentations are a great way to help your students learn about the subject matter they're studying through hands-on experiences.

General Field Trip Information

• Field trips are self-guided tours of the museum & zoo
• Allow at least 2 hours to tour
• Bus Drivers receive free general admission
• GSC Memberships cannot be used towards group admission

• Children must be accompanied by a chaperone at all times
• Bus parking provided
• First come first serve lunch room access
• Gift shop is open for field trip visitation

Field Trip Add Ons

OmniSphere Theater

• Ages 4 and up are admitted to the OmniSphere.
• Full Dome or Laser Show: $3.00/person
• 3D Show: *$5.00/person
*Turtle Vision $3.00/person
• Availability: Weekdays, on the hour 9AM-11AM
• Capacity: 86 people
• Length: ranges 20 minutes – 50 minutes

• Ages PreK- 5th grade
• Programs/Presentations: $60/program
• Availability: Weekdays, on the hour 9AM-11AM
• Capacity: 75 people
• Length: 45 minutes
