Great fun, great memories, great science!

Come experience the Greensboro Science Center and earn a badge! The Greensboro Science Center will host 8 Girl Scout Programs during this school year. If you cannot find a date that will fit your group, please email Amy Keeter, at akeeter@greensboroscience.org, to see if other sessions can be arranged.

Scout Troops have an opportunity to earn badges while enjoying time at the museum!

Daisy Programs

ANIMAL ADVENTURES
Come explore the ways animals and people are alike and how they are different! Learn about what animals need to survive. Find out how to care for animals and explore how similar their needs are to ours! Explore how animals move and communicate. Learn to educate others about animals and their needs. **This builds on the Birdbath Award**

This It's Your Story-Tell It! 5 Flowers, 4 Stories, 3 Cheers for Animals will complete the Daisy Red Robin Award.

(1 Adult Chaperone per 5 Girl Scouts is admitted free)
Note: Additional adults/siblings wishing to come on the field trip may come by paying admission or using their GSC Membership. While Girl Scouts are in their program, additional guests are asked to visit the GSC exhibits and grounds and rejoin Girl Scouts after program completion.

GET MOVING
Don't let your battery run down! Explore and experience the many forms of energy and how to conserve the Earth’s energy! Are you a good steward of energy? Make a pledge for the future and be an energy detective!

This It’s Your Planet-Love It! event pathway will complete the Junior Energize Skill Building Badge.

SENSES
How do we learn about the world around us? Curiosity! Exploration! Investigation! This is what science is all about. You have five senses that work together to learn about the world around you. This badge teaches you to use these important tools to find the answers!

ANIMAL HELPERS
Animals have always provided humans with food, clothing and transportation, but today they are also trained to help people with disabilities, find people who are lost and even know when a person is ill. And, of course, animals entertain us and give us joy and unconditional love! Come explore the wonder of animals!

This It’s Your Story-Tell It! event pathway will complete the Cadette Animal Helpers Skill Building Badge.
