Aquarium & Museum: 9:00am - 5:00pm

Zoo: Regular hours: 10:00am - 4:00pm;
Summer Hours (May 28 - Sept. 5): 9:00am - 5:00pm

Open year-round except:
• Closed Sept. 23, 2016 for annual gala preparations
• Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
• Closes at 2pm on Christmas Eve.


We accept cash and Master Card, Discovery, Visa, and American Express credit cards. Personal checks not accepted.
An ATM is available for paid visitors. It is located in the Museum lobby.

Greensboro Science Center Entrance

The Greensboro Science Center is located at 4301 Lawndale Drive in Greensboro.


North Carolina General Statute §1 05-1 64.4(a) provides that an admission charge to an entertainment activity (museum) is subject to sales and use tax in accordance with N.C. Gen.Stat. §1 05-1 64.46. Accordingly, general admissions, OmniSphere admissions and membership will be subject to 6.75% sales tax beginning January 1, 2015.

General admission includes admission to the Museum, Animal Discovery and SciQuarium.

Members: Free
Adults (ages 14 - 64): $12.50
Seniors (ages 65+): $11.50
Children (ages 3 - 13): $11.50
Children 2 and Under: Free

Greensboro residents receive $1 off general admission.
Members of the military receive $1 off general admission with a valid military ID.
College students receive $1 off general admission with a valid college ID.
City of Greensboro employees receive $1 off general admission with a valid City ID.

OmniSphere Admission

OmniSphere Theater ticket fees are in addition to General Admission.

OmniSphere tickets are $3 or $5 each, depending on the show.

AZA/ASTC Reciprocity

Reciprocal Memberships for participating ASTC or AZA organizations will be accepted provided the Member follows the following guidelines:
• You MUST have your Membership Card with you.
• The Membership Card MUST be in your name.
• You MUST present a photo ID.
• The expiration date on the Membership Card MUST be valid.
