BASIC BENEFITS include one full year of:

  • FREE General Admission to the Greensboro Science Center and Animal Discovery Zoo.
  • *FREE or discounted admission to more than 160 zoos and aquariums worldwide. View participating Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) institutions at: http://www.aza.org/reciprocity/

  • 10% discount in our gift shop, as well as special annual shopping days

Family Membership

Memberships are a great way to enjoy all the Greensboro Science Center has to offer for one full year!


NOTE: Each AZA and ASTC institution has its own admissions policy, so call before you go to get the details.

*The NC Zoo offers a 50% discount on admission and 10% gift shop discount to GSC members. The N.C. Aquariums (Roanoke Island, Pine Knoll Shores & Fort Fisher) offer FREE admission for GSC card-holding members - 2 adults & 2 children (under age 18).

**Science centers and museums located within 90 miles of each other are excluded from the program unless that exclusion is lifted by mutual agreement. NC Museum of Life and Science in Durham and Discovery Place in Charlotte do not honor free admission for GSC members. GSC members will receive a 50% discount on admission to Morehead Planetarium and Science Center at UNC-Chapel Hill with a valid membership card and a matching photo I.D.


By purchasing or receiving a Greensboro Science Center Membership,
Members agree to abide by all policies and procedures.

MEMBERSHIP UPGRADES
ONE (1) Adult may be added to your membership for $10.
Additional children may be added to your membership for $10 each.
NOTE: INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIPS MAY HAVE EITHER AN ADDITIONAL ADULT OR AN ADDITIONAL CHILD, BUT NOT BOTH.

*Greensboro City Residents receive $5.00 off Individual, Grandparent, and Family Memberships.
** Meet the Keeper and Behind the Scenes Tours must be scheduled in advance with Terri Cooke at ext 1315 or email tcooke@natsci.org. Max of 7 people, ages 8 and up on the tour.
