Parking is available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis. Buses must be parked in the lower lot, closest to Country Park. Please place a parking placard in the front passenger-side window to expedite check-in. Each bus should be labeled with the group/school name and bus number (example: Super School / 1 of 3)

Groups arriving on buses
Pull bus/es in the semi-circle located in front of admissions. Wait for a GSC employee to assist you. Have your final head count ready (school groups should have their numbers broken down into the following categories: Students/Staff/Bus Drivers). We will check your group in on the bus/es - please remain on the bus until directed to unload by a GSC employee. We prefer that the group lead is seated on the 1st bus that arrives.

Groups arriving in individual vehicles
Please gather the group on the right side of the admissions window and wait for a GSC group check-in representative to assist you.

Bus Arrival

  • We request at least 1 chaperone for every 10 students or children. A ratio of 6:1 is recommended for grades 2 and below.
  • All children 16 years of age or younger must be accompanied by and under direct supervision of an adult at all times.
  • Chaperones will need to pay separately for their admission and OmniSphere show if they are not included in your reservation. Including chaperones in your reservation is optional. If included, you will be billed for their admission and OmniSphere show on your invoice.
  • Download Chaperone Information Cards for your chaperones to communicate pertinent information.

Group Lunch Accommodations (Effective June 12, 2017)

Due to an increase in visiting groups and group sizes, we are no longer able to accommodate groups with an indoor lunch reservation. School groups are encouraged to plan a picnic style lunch outdoors at a nearby park or eat on the bus/es. All available indoor eating space will be on a first come, first serve basis. The GSC staff is not responsible for lost or stolen lunch items such as coolers, lunch bags, etc. Please note: our indoor eating spaces are open to all visiting guests. The GSC has a limited number of picnic tables around the facility which are also first come, first serve. The GSC is adjacent to Country Park, which has numerous picnic facilities. We encourage groups to make a reservation with Country Park by calling Greensboro's Parks and Recreation Department at 336-373-5888.
