Zip across Lake Sloan on the FLYWAY zipline at the Battleground Parks District (BPD) and experience breathtaking, birds-eye views of Country Park!

Guidelines

  • Minimum age is 8 years old
  • Must weigh between 70lbs -275lbs
  • Must not be pregnant.
  • People with medical issues should consult a physician before participating. Medical conditions that should restrict participation include, but not limited to spinal injury or weak spine, or heart conditions.
  • Must wear closed-toe and closed-heel shoes and clothing that is appropriate for full body harness.
  • No dangling jewelry
  • Long hair must be pulled back and secured.
  • You cannot have anything in your pockets while zipping the FLYWAY.
  • No gum, candy or food.
  • Must comply with all safety instructions, operational policies, and supervisions policies at all times.

FAQs

Where are the nearest restrooms?

Restrooms are conveniently located beside the FLYWAY ticket office. Those who have also purchased general admission tickets for the Greensboro Science Center may use the Greensboro Science Center's restrooms.

Where can I purchase FLYWAY tickets?

Tickets are available at the blue ticket booth located beside the carousel.
