Monday, September 16:
GSC Member Fall Class Registration Opens
Join our fall classes at the GSC for a season of adventure and learning! All of our age-appropriate programs emphasize engaging education, so be prepared to jump in and DO science. Choose from science explorations and/or brick engineering and robotics!
Registration for our 2024 fall classes is Monday, September 16th at 9:00 am for GSC members and Thursday, September 19th at 9:00 am for non-members.
Join us on Saturday, September 21, from 9:30am to 1:30pm for our Red Panda Day event! Participate in a scavenger hunt, visit educational tables to try walking like a red panda, purchase paintings by our resident red pandas, and get limited edition Red Panda Day pins. Activities are included with a GSC membership or general admission.
Sunday, September 22: Final Day of Mazes & Brain Games
Our traveling exhibit, Mazes & Brain Games, will conclude on September 22, 2024. This will be the final day for guests to experience the interactive displays and mind-bending challenges.
Thursday, September 26: Sensory Friendly Night
Sensory Friendly Nights are crafted to offer a welcoming and comfortable setting for those who may benefit from a less stimulating environment. Guests can explore the wonders of the GSC, including its zoo, aquarium, and museum, with reduced noise levels, dimmed lights, and sensory-friendly spaces throughout the facility. Time: 5:30pm to 8:00pm, zoo closes at 7:00pm
Tickets are $5 each and can only be purchase at the front admissions window.
Friday, September 27:
Laser Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon
This spectacular laser light show plays in the GSC’s OmniSphere Theater and features tracks from the Dark Side of the Moon. Showtimes are 7:00, 8:00 & 9:00 pm. Seating is limited. This show sells out! Tickets are $7 each.
Join us for a special (almost) Fur-st Saturday event on September 28 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm!
The SPCA of The Triad will be hosting an animal adoption event for dogs at the SAIL Center. Additionally, there will be a low-cost rabies clinic for cats and dogs.
Fur-st Saturdays activities are free to the public. Admission to the GSC is not included in the event.
