After you experience the Statewide Star Party on April 5, join us for a Solar Eclipse event on April 8 from 2:00 – 4:30pm, with the peak at 3:14pm. Telescopes will be set up for sun viewing, and members from the Greensboro Astronomy Club will join GSC staff to discuss the eclipse.
This event will be held in front of the GSC. All ages are welcome to this free event.
Sensory Friendly Nights are crafted to offer a welcoming and comfortable setting for those who may benefit from a less stimulating environment. Guests can explore the wonders of the GSC, including its zoo, aquarium, and museum, with reduced noise levels, dimmed lights, and sensory–friendly spaces throughout the facility.
