The Cole Family Monarch Conservation Center & Butterfly House opens for the season on Saturday, May 17!
Open daily from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, this vibrant exhibit invites you to walk among native butterflies, including monarchs, and learn how to support them at home. Admission is included with general entry or membership.
Saturday, May 17: Endangered Species Day
Celebrate Endangered Species Day at the Greensboro Science Center on Saturday, May 17, from 10:00am – 2:00pm! Explore the zoo and aquarium, visit education tables throughout the campus, and discover how you can help protect endangered species at home.
Don’t miss the winning poster contest submissions on display, and a special scavenger hunt is available all weekend. Turn in your completed hunt for a chance to win a unique animal painting created by one of our animal artists!
Participation in Endangered Species Day activities is included with general admission or GSC membership.
