Classes & Camps

From hands-on science to creative engineering, our classes and camps spark curiosity and inspire discovery all year long. Each program encourages students to explore, experiment, and connect with the world around them through interactive, age-appropriate learning experiences.

2026 Spring Classes

Join our Spring classes at the GSC for a season of adventure and learning! Our age-appropriate programs emphasize engaging education, so be prepared to jump in and DO science. Choose from science explorations and/or brick engineering and robotics!

GSC member registration opens Tuesday, January 20th, at 9:00 am
Non-member registration opens Thursday, January 22nd, at 9:00 am

2026 Summer Camp

From amazing animals to rockin’ robots, we make science fun and engaging with hands-on activities and learning adventures for ages 5-12. Our aquarium, museum, and zoo are full of seemingly endless opportunities – all on one campus! Register according to your child’s age by the start of camp.

Summer camp registration will open at 9:00 am on Monday, February 23rd, for members and on Thursday, February 26th, for non-members.

Brick Engineering & Robotics

The Greensboro Science Center’s Brick Engineering & Robotics classes and camps inspire builders ages 5–14 to think creatively and work collaboratively through hands-on STEM exploration. Students learn coding, engineering, and design using LEGO® bricks and robotics in team-based and individual challenges that promote problem-solving, communication, and critical thinking.

Science Presentations

Designed to complement classroom learning, our Science Presentations give students the chance to see science in action. Led by experienced educators, these sessions blend hands-on exploration with real-world connections to North Carolina’s science standards.
