Open Year-Round: Daily, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Exceptions: Closed on New Year’s Day, See to Believe Gala, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
The GSC closes early during Winter Wonderlights.
Some attractions, including SKYWILD, the carousel, and FLYWAY Zipline, may have different seasonal hours. Check individual experience pages for weather or maintenance updates.
Parking: Parking is available for free on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional parking may be found at Jaycee Park lot (3801 Jaycee Park Dr.) or at the Nathanael Greene entrance of Country Park (3900 Nathanael Greene Dr.).
Ticket Prices
At the Greensboro Science Center, the understanding is that every guest has unique needs and budgets. A flexible pricing structure is in place to provide options that deliver the best value.

The following guests receive $1 off general admission with a valid ID:

Offer valid only for in-person, same-day, regularly priced general admission.
AZA Reciprocal Members:
Available for in-person, same-day ticket purchases only.
Present a valid membership card & matching ID.
Reciprocity is subject to change.
SNAP/EBT/WIC Participants:
Available for in-person, same-day ticket purchases only.
Adults: $7.00 + tax, Kids: $6.00 + tax.
Not valid for group visits.

Frequently Asked Questions
If your museum or zoo is part of the Association of Zoos & Aquariums (AZA) reciprocity program, you may receive discounted admission at the Greensboro Science Center. View participating facilities at aza.org/reciprocity.
Reciprocity is subject to change and valid for in-person, same-day ticket purchases only. A valid membership card and photo ID are required, and the membership card must be in your name (or your company’s name for business memberships).
Coolers and outside food are welcome. On-site dining is also available at the Meerkat Café.
Pets are not permitted. ADA service animals or those in a recognized training program may visit, but must be checked in at the admissions window.

You are welcome to take personal photos and videos for non-commercial use. Drones and aerial photography are not permitted anywhere on GSC property.
For commercial, educational, or paid client photography/videography, advance permission from the GSC’s Marketing Department is required and may include a $150+ fee. Commercial photography is not permitted during Winter Wonderlights, except for event sponsors. For booking inquiries, email marketing@greensboroscience.org.
Weapons of any kind (including concealed carry firearms), balloons, drones, and selfie sticks are not permitted. Smoking of any kind (including e-cigarettes or vapes) is also prohibited.
