The Greensboro Science Center offers a variety of public programs that bring science to life through hands-on discovery, creativity, and exploration. From live shows to early learning activities and stargazing nights, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Early Learning Fun

Conservation Creation

Join our Early Learning Guide on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. to explore the natural world through themed crafts and activities!

This month: Jelly Jamboree! 🪼
Location: Amphitheater in Jeansboro Junction
Learn about the science of jellies as well as the different jellies we have here at the GSC. Guests will also have the opportunity to create their own jelly out of recycled materials! Any jellies that are left with us will be hung around SciPlay Bay during December for everyone to enjoy!

Look to the Skies

Starry Safari

Embark on a celestial journey every Friday (except the third Friday of each month), weather permitting. Explore the night sky with telescopes during this outdoor stargazing event.

Once Upon a Time in the Sky

Soar through the skies and beyond as you follow a curious penguin on a high-flying journey through the history of flight — from Kitty Hawk to Mars.
Designed for families and future aviators alike, this original live show celebrates the inventors, dreamers, and explorers who dared to take to the skies.

Indiana Bones and the Raiders of the Lost Archosaurs

2025 Evening Laser Shows

Experience music in a whole new light! Our Evening Laser Shows pair iconic hits with a stunning laser display across the OmniSphere’s 40-foot dome.

Showtimes: 7:00, 8:00, & 9:00 pm for most shows.
Laser Taylor Swift also plays at 6:00 pm.
Tickets: $7 per show ($10 for Laser Taylor Swift).

Seating is limited — please arrive before showtime, as guests cannot be admitted once a show begins.
