Expedition Rainforest: the Greensboro Biodome & ARCC

The Next Chapter of Discovery

Expedition Rainforest: the Greensboro Biodome and Aquatic Rehabilitation and Conservation Center (ARCC) is the Greensboro Science Center’s boldest step forward yet, bringing a living tropical rainforest to the heart of the Triad.

The five-story Biodome will immerse guests in the sights, sounds, and scale of a rainforest ecosystem while supporting conservation and education efforts through immersive animal habitats and Species Survival Plan® breeding programs.

Alongside the Biodome, the ARCC will expand the Greensboro Science Center’s ability to rehabilitate and protect aquatic wildlife while supporting conservation initiatives for future generations.

Together, these spaces represent the future of discovery at the Greensboro Science Center, where immersive experiences inspire curiosity, conservation, and connection.
